Our Services

Shabbat Unplugged:

May 3

Please join us as we welcome Shabbat in an "unplugged" musical style. Using our voices and the accompaniment of acoustic guitar, this joyful and spiritual service will be a shared experience of harmonious communal singing.


 

Shir Shabbat:

Led by Rabbi Ben Shalva and the Shir Shabbat Band
 April 19, May 17, 24, June 14

Special Shir Shabbats:
March 29 with Rabbi Josh Warshawsky


Join us in song on Friday nights for a joyful, instrumental participatory Shabbat service for all ages. Come dressed casual, enjoy hors d'oeuvres and wine at 5:30 p.m., then at 6 p.m. share in our spirited, one-hour service filled with singing, clapping, and great music from our bands.
 


Family Service:

Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. - Hoffberger Chapel
A place where students can lead the prayers, feel close to God, and connect to the larger Chizuk Amuno community. Participation in the Family Service gives children a comfortable place to learn by doing. It is led by Rabbi Seltzer and meets weekly during the school year. Specifically geared towards students in grades K-4 and a parent.


Torah for Tots:

Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. Esterson Auditorium
April 13, May 11, June 8

An interactive family service with singing, dancing, praying, snacks, stories, and so much more, led by Michelle Gold, Director of Goldsmith ECC. Specifically geared towards families with children from birth to five years old.
 


Tot Shabbat:

Fridays, 9:30 a.m.
April 5, 19, May 3, 17

Friday morning pre-Shabbat experience for infants and toddlers with their adult caregivers. Melissa Berman, Young Family Coordinator leads this participatory session geared towards young children under 4.
