Giving

Thank you for your generous support!

A variety of opportunities are available to enable you to recognize a significant occasion, remember a loved one, support our congregation and schools, make a gift, and fulfill your philanthropic goals. We invite you to contact our Director of Development, Rebecca Rudel should you wish to discuss a gift to the congregation or our schools, or for information on the giving opportunities listed below.

Annual Campaign

Our Annual Campaign provides essential resources enabling our congregation and schools to flourish by providing funds to enhance our programming and curriculum. Annual fund contributions allow us to enhance our existing programs and dream of new opportunities and directions for growth,  allow congregation to be accessible to anyone who wants to be part of our community.

Membership dues and school tuition do not cover the full costs of serving our membership and school families. Our annual campaign appeal contributions fund nearly 5% of the costs of our total budget each year and enable us to expand and increase our programs, assist families in need of school scholarships, and welcome young members unable to manage the full brunt of membership dues. The Annual Appeal Campaign supports congregational life and Jewish education for all ages. The Annual Campaign relies on you and may be designated towards synagogue programs and general support or towards one of our excellent schools. Donate Here to the Annual Campaign.

Tribute Gifts

Tribute Gifts to Chizuk Amuno Congregation or to one of our schools in honor or in memory of friends and loved ones, to wish a speedy recovery or to express appreciation are a meaningful way to acknowledge occasions and milestones. Make your tribute gift here

Chizuk Amuno Foundation

The Chizuk Amuno Foundation, Inc. is our not-for-profit subsidiary that oversees the management of our named endowment funds that support all aspects of congregational and school life including tuition assistance, capital maintenance, and social service and educational programs.

The income from our endowment funds provides between six and seven percent of the total operating budget for our synagogue and schools. Named funds range from $18,000 to over $3,000,000.

Visit the Chizuk Amuno Foundation page for a complete description of our history and purpose as well as various ways to give.

Charitable Gift Planning

In addition to outright gifts, Charitable Gift Planning is an effective way to provide for the future of Chizuk Amuno Congregation and our schools. A variety of opportunities are available to enable donors to fulfill philanthropic goals, while making efficient use of their financial resources. Our bequest society, Bonei Amuno, recognizes those who have signed a Letter of Intent representing a moral commitment to include the congregation in their estate planning.

Community Partnerships

Please consider contributing to Ukraine fundraising through The Associated so our community can be counted together.
