Chizuk Amuno Congregation Day of Service

Sunday, October 10, 2021 4 Cheshvan 5782

9:00 AM - 2:30 PMChizuk Amuno Congregation

Get Your Mitzvah On!

On April 1, 1871, 23 devoted individuals envisioned that their new congregation would perpetuate traditional Judaism by strengthening the faith and nurturing the religious development of its members through adherence to Judaism’s central ideals of Torah (learning), Avodah (worship), and Gemilut Hasadim (acts of loving kindness). Our 150-year history has a deep connection to Gemilut Hasadim and we hope you and your family will join us to ensure this tradition continues for the next 150 years!

The slate of activities for the Day of Service is below. Volunteer registration is at this link here or you may contact Cheryl Snyderman, csnyderman@chizukamuno.org, 410-486-6400 ext. 300. All activities will be outdoors and will take place at Chizuk Amuno unless otherwise noted.

If you would like to support our projects by contributing supplies, our wish-list can be found  here. or simply drop off these newly purchased or never-used items in our Collection Center in the coat roam: socks, combs and brushes, tissue packets, re-useable tote bags, work gloves, puzzle books, note card sets, fidget toys, small games, fruit snacks, fruit roll-ups, mini cookie or snack bags, small crayon or marker sets, or small drawing pads of paper.
