On Repentance and Repair: Making amends in an unapologetic world Rabbi Debi Wechsler 10 – 11 a.m. September 5, 12, 19 & 26 During the month of Elul, we will work our way through Rabbi Danya Ruttenburg’s book “On Repentance and Repair” where we will study and reflect on Repentance in Personal Relationships, National Repentance, and forgiveness, among other themes. Diversity in Community Rabbi Debi Wechsler 10 – 11 a.m. October 31-December 19 (no class on November 28) How do we handle diversity in the Jewish community? How diverse can/should a Jewish community be? Using the texts of our tradition, we will explore this very current idea of diversity. September: The Torah Readings of the High Holy Days Rabbi Joshua Gruenberg 11 a.m. - noon Throughout Rosh HaShannah and Yom Kippur, we read from the Torah four different times. Together we will explore these readings and discuss why we read them during this time of year.
