Synagogue Leaders

A member of Chizuk Amuno Congregation since 2002, Rena has been an active member on various committees including Gemilut Hasadim, Purim Carnival and the Israel Committee. When her children were younger, she was active on the PAs of KSDS and a long time ago, GECC. She joined the Board in 2017. Most recently, she played an active role in the Hazzan Search Committee.

Rena is a Cancer Researcher at University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Greenebaum Cancer Center. She lives in Pikesville with her husband Ari, two sons in their early 20’s, Jacob and Ben and their assortment of cats and dog. Both Jacob and Ben are alumnae of GECCC, KSDS and had B’nei Mitzvah at Chizuk Amuno.
