Chizuk Amuno Congregation and Schools
150th Anniversary Campaign
This campaign is a fundraising effort centered on impactful investments for the future of our beloved congregation. Our vision is centered on four core areas- all playing their own role in safeguarding the financial stability and vitality of Chizuk Amuno Congregation and Schools. With inspirational and visionary leadership, we are poised to reimagine a dynamic twenty-first century congregation.
This is your opportunity to plant for the next generation, as the previous generations have done for us.
Our primary goals include increasing and promoting multi-year commitments for our Annual Campaign and Endowment to better strategize our annual budget while planning for our long-term programming and institutional priorities. The yearly draw from our endowment offsets our annual operating budget and stabilizes membership dues and school tuition, regardless of the state of the economy, inflation, and consistent cost increases.
We have four prongs to our campaign to encourage and afford all of our members the ability to be part of this collective commitment to building the future of our community.
Ways to Give
-
A gift to our General Endowment- You can help secure Chizuk Amuno Congregation and Schools’ and Krieger Schechter Day School’s financial stability for the future by helping us grow our endowment which offsets membership costs and our annual operating budget. Pledge Here.
-
An increased one-time gift or multi-year commitment to the Annual Campaign- While we are in the midst of this milestone campaign, we are grateful for those who can go above and beyond their typical support with an additional gift to the endowment. However, we do not want the Annual Campaign to suffer. The Annual Campaign is our lifeline. Increasing your annual gift in honor of the 150th, or pledging your gift for multiple years, would help us plan strategically over time rather than year-to-year, which limits our ability to plan long-term. An unrestricted annual gift allows us to allocate your contribution where the need is greatest. Pledge Here.
-
The Goldsmith Early Childhood Center Renovation Project- We are thrilled to have renderings for a new office and lobby which will upgrade the entrance to our preschool. The preschool is our pipeline for the next generation to both our Rosenbloom Religious School and Krieger Schechter Day School. The safety and security of our schools is our top priority. This renovation will bring our aging building to current market security standards. We have raised 50% of our goal. We need your help to raise $300,000 and make this project possible. Pledge Here.
-
Consider making a legacy gift- We make plans to ensure that our loved ones are cared for after our lifetime. Why wouldn’t we also ensure that the institutions and values that matter to us are also cared for in perpetuity? A planned gift would welcome you to our Bonei Amuno Legacy Society and inspire others to support Chizuk Amuno for generations to come. By completing this form, your legacy gift can be counted toward our 150th campaign goals.

Do you have other ideas of what you would like to support? This campaign is not one-size-fits-all. We’d love to have a conversation to help make your gift as meaningful as possible.
If you are interested in exploring a conversation about how you can support the campaign, please contact Rebecca Rudel, Director of Development and Major Gifts, at rrudel@chizukamuno.org or 410-486-6400 ext. 272.
