We welcome you and your family to continue to learn and pray with us each day in ways that we believe will elevate your search for meaning and deepen your faith.
We also invite you to keep in touch, reach out to us in times of need, and stay informed as we explore together the challenges and responses to COVID-19 through a Jewish lens.
Although our campus is temporarily closed, our community and all that we are able to offer at this time remain available and open to you in new and exciting ways. Some of our current offerings are listed below. May we all enjoy in peace, community, and good health!
Wings of Memory Book
Wings of Memory is Chizuk Amuno’s annual Memorial and Tribute Book used when we recite Yizkor on YomKippur, as well as on SheminiAtzeret, Pesah, and Shavuot. The book is an inspiring publication in which we honor the memories of our loved ones.
As we anticipate the coming Jewish New Year 5781, we are now preparing the new edition of this sacred publication and invite you to remember loved ones in this year’s booklet. The letter you received contained a listing of your previous listing as well as updates for which we recommend a change. New memorials and corrections to existing listings may be added below or by calling Marci Scher at 410-486-6400, ext. 223 or email her at email@example.com.
In keeping with our Jewish tradition of giving tzedakah in memory of our loved ones, a contribution (suggested minimum of $36) will confirm your family’s listing in the book. Your generosity honors the legacy of your loved ones as it supports our congregation’s ability to help others. Please accept our synagogue community’s gratitude for your gift as we join together in honoring the lives of all whom we remember.
We are aware of how meaningful these listings are and strive to do all that we can to ensure that they are correct. To assist us in creating a proper memorial for your family, we ask that you fill out the form below to update your listing, check your listing, and pay online for your tribute contribution prior to Monday, July 6, 2020.
