We welcome you and your family to continue to learn and pray with us each day in ways that we believe will elevate your search for meaning and deepen your faith.
We also invite you to keep in touch, reach out to us in times of need, and stay informed as we explore together the challenges and responses to COVID-19 through a Jewish lens.
Although our campus is temporarily closed, our community and all that we are able to offer at this time remain available and open to you in new and exciting ways. Some of our current offerings are listed below. May we all enjoy in peace, community, and good health!
As we approach the Hanukkah season and the end of the secular new year, we pause and look back at the meaning of the holiday and experiences of this past year while we look ahead at the excitement and energy that the synagogue and schools play in our lives. Our focus this year is to reach every member and school family and reach 100% participation in our 2019-20 Kadima Fund – formally known as our Annual Campaign. (Kadima is the Hebrew word for moving forward).
We are halfway towards our 100% goal and need your help and support. We are honored to chair this year’s Kadima Fund, we are moved by the impact and activity level in the synagogue and schools, and we are committed to making the difference as we “MOVE FORWARD” into the next phase of our congregation’s history.
Only with your support will we be able to reach our ambitious goal of 100% participation. We recognize the membership dues and contributions you make to our synagogue throughout the year are meaningful. We also recognize that membership dues and tuitions do not cover the full brunt of synagogue and school expenses, so we turn to you annually for your support. Please know that these additional funds will enable our community to fulfill our new vision and support our talented Rabbis and staff.
We are one community moving forward and we need everyone’s participation and support. No gift is too small — we appreciate any gift that you feel comfortable giving.
Please join us and help us keep Chizuk Amuno Congregation and Schools moving forward towards an exciting and meaningful future.
Wishing you a happy and healthy secular new year.
