The proceeds from the Yom Kippur Food Drive will be given to the Maryland Food Bank. In response to increased food insecurity brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, MFB has stepped up its distribution practices, ensuring children get meals normally provided in school, offering drive-through pick-up for families in need of fresh produce and non-perishables, and getting nutritious foods to homebound seniors.
It is Hunger Action Month. And we are in the midst of a pandemic. Please stop by Chizuk Amuno on the 27th and contribute during this truly difficult time. In lieu of food, monetary donations will be accepted. Checks can be made out to Chizuk Amuno Congregation and directed to the attention of Cheryl Snyderman.
