An accident during a bar mitzvah celebration leads to a gender rift in a devout Orthodox community in Jerusalem, in this rousing, good-hearted tale about women speaking truth to patriarchal power.
Rabbanit Bracha Jaffe of Beth Tfiloh Schools and Congregation will lead discussion following the film. Rabbanit Bracha Jaffe serves as Community Educator in Beth Tfiloh synagogue and as a HS teacher in BT School. She is a dynamic and thoughtful educator who delights in learning with people of all ages. Rabbanit Jaffe was ordained by Yeshivat Maharat in June 2017, following a long career in hi-tech in Israel. She feels blessed to be following this path which nourishes and fills her soul.
