SUNDAY, JUNE 9 – SHAVUOT 9:15 a.m. – Shaharit: Morning Service and Hallel 10:00 a.m. – Book of Ruth and Torah Study on Book of Ruth We’ll journey from the sanctuary and sit around Torah study tables in the Krieger Auditorium. Over coffee and nibbles, our rabbis will guide us as we dialogue with study partners and explore texts from the Book of Ruth. 10:00 a.m. – Children’s Holiday program Children and families are welcome to join us for Torah study and chanting of the Book of Ruth at 10 a.m. and there will be a special table for them with learning led by Rabbi Seltzer. Following this learning there will be Family Service in the Chapel. 10:30 a.m. – Family Service K-5th Grades 10:30 a.m. – Torah Service followed by Musaf 12 p.m. – Shavuot Dairy Lunch 12:30 p.m. – Stay and Play on the Wagner Brill Playground 6:00 p.m. – Minhah/Ma’ariv
Monday, JUNE 10 – SHAVUOT 9:15 a.m. – Shaharit: Morning Service and Hallel 10:30 a.m. – Yizkor Memorial Prayers and Dedication of Memorial Plaques Chizuk Amuno Choir joins Hazzan Perlman 10:30 a.m. – Children’s Holiday program Children of all ages can join in the pilgrimage to Jerusalem. For our Kindergarten-fifth graders Rabbi Seltzer and friends lead a Family Service which culminates in the Sanctuary where children take part in the tradition of Bikkurim (presenting first fruits on the bimah).
For our toddlers and preschoolers Melissa Berman, Young Families Coordinator, leads preschool age interactive story time and Bikkurim preparation. 11:30 a.m. – Bikkurim (presenting first fruits on the bimah) 12 p.m. – Shavuot Dairy Lunch 12:30 p.m. – Stay and Play on the Wagner Brill Playground 8:15 p.m. – Minhah/Ma’ariv
