On Shabbat Yahad, we blend the schools and generations of Chizuk Amuno for a Shabbat Together. Our sanctuary becomes a central hub for all of our different Shabbat services and activities, and for all of us as families and friends.
9:15 a.m. – Shabbat Shaharit Service – Sanctuary Our weekly Shabbat service begins as we welcome our “regular” worshippers and all others who will come to join in prayer and davennen on Shabbat morning.
Those of you coming with your children for services, please visit with our educators and volunteers who will be in the Garden Lounge to welcome you and help you to participate.
NOTE: Babysitting will be available from 9:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
10:00 a.m. – Torah Service in the sanctuary
10:15 a.m. – (Plan to arrive by 10) KSDS 1st grade students are invited to bring their new siddurim with special homemade covers to the main sanctuary to take part in the service and then join the Family Service immediately after.
10:30 a.m. – Family Service
10:30 a.m. – Torah for Tots with a special Rosh Chodesh twist celebrating the month of Adar for our youngest children and their parents.
10:30 a.m. – KSDS 4th Grade Shabbat Service
11:45 a.m. – We all join in the Sanctuary participate in our concluding Shabbat prayers
12:00 p.m. – Kiddush Together & Shabbat Lunch Following services, our entire Chizuk Amuno community is invited to Shabbat lunch, a wonderful way to spend Shabbat with friends and to meet the members of our community.
