In commemoration of Martin Luther King weekend, please join us at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation on the afternoon of Sunday, January 20 from 1-4:30 pm for a free screening of the documentary Charm City, which was filmed over three years leading up to, and after, the death of Freddie Gray in police custody. A talk-back following the screening will feature Alex Long, a SafeStreets violence interrupter featured in the film. A flyer for this event is attached and we hope to attract people from throughout the community. This event is sponsored by BHC Justice, Chizuk Amuno Social Justice Advocacy Committee, the Beth Am Synagogue, Bolton Street Synagogue, and Kol HaLev Social Action Committees, Jews United for Justice, and Baltimore Cultural Chavurah.
