This video was produced by the Christian Broadcasting Network, and receives rave reviews from Rabbi Schneider. It tells the story of the 55th Paratrooper Brigade, and the reunification of Jerusalem. We have selected this film in honor of Israeli Independence Day, and Israel’s 70th Anniversary.
Our guest speaker will be Mordchai “Mota” Gur who fought in the Six Day War. Mota, an active member of the FIDF, is currently involved in the creation of a new Museum, Ammunition Hill Memorial and Museum, located in Jerusalem, and commemorating this hard fought battle. From the IDF to the JNF, Mota Gur knows what it means to give back. A Baltimore resident since 1972, Mota is an Israeli who fought in the Six Day War in the south and demonstrates his love and support for Israel by actively chairing the JNF’s Israel campaign. Mota has also chaired the fundraising efforts for creating the Memorial at Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem, commemorating a very hard won battle during the Six Day War.
$5/person You will have the opportunity to meet and hear from Mr. Gur following the showing of the film.
