Cyber Awareness Workshop
Sunday, April 28, 10:15 a.m.
Taught by RRS parent and Chizuk Amuno Member, Tzach Asher
As technology becomes an integral element in every aspect of our surrounding, and devices are embedded (sometimes literally) in our lives, we get to enjoy the add-on advantages. However, there is a dark side to it, which might negatively affect us.
The News provides a glimpse of sad and painful outcomes of the cyber-threats. In this workshop, we strive to help you stay on the happier side of the news: We will take about strategies for parents to handle the kid’s eagerness for technology adventures; Provide tools that will help to prevent, when possible, cyber-threats; Address the different approaches between the various life stages; and much more.
The information-packed session will address the following: Mobile devices, Home computers, Connected Devices (Internet of Things), Safety-oriented etiquette, and a few smart tricks.
