Chizuk Amuno Congregation & Schools 150 Years

“One Heart, Many Voices” is the theme of our Chizuk Amuno 150th Anniversary.  This theme perfectly captures our energy and our diversity in this 150th year, and we want you to be a part of the celebration.

From our humble beginnings on Exeter Street in downtown Baltimore in 1871, to our current campus in Pikesville, Chizuk Amuno has continued to serve the needs of Baltimore’s Jewish community and the community at large by meeting the religious, educational, cultural and social needs of our congregants.

We hope you are as excited about our 150th year of events as we are.  As we have learned over the past 18 months, things change quickly.  Our congregation has been able to pivot, when necessary, to ensure your health and safety always comes first.  We will continue to change when needed and hope you will join us for a year that is sure to be extraordinary.

The 150 Signature Programs not only reflect our past,  capture who we are today, but also look towards our future!
