The Family Service

Friday Night Family Service

A spirited Shabbat Service for families with children who attend elementary and middle school. Younger and older siblings are always welcome! Our service includes singing, creative activities, and shared family moments. Different classes help our clergy and school educators lead each service.
Who? Families with students in elementary and middle school
When? 7:30 p.m., Fridays

Shabbat Morning Family Service

A family friendly and spirited service led by our school educators. Our interactive service which our children help lead includes Torah reading and family participation.
Who? Families with students in grades K–4
 When? 10 a.m. every Saturday excluding national holiday weekends

Simhat Shabbat

A special Shabbat morning experience designed specifically for our 5th and 6th grade Chizuk Amuno students as they prepare to become a part of our adult community. Simhat Shabbat is an engaging, energetic, and meaningful experience where our students explore prayer in a fun and social environment. Students take an active role in the service and read from the Torah.

Torah for Tots

Join our early childhood educators for a high energy, interactive family service for families with children ages birth–5 years old. Songs, dancing, snacks, stories, and so much more!
Who? Families with infants and children up to 5 years old
When? 11:15 a.m., Saturdays

Post B’nei Mitzvah Teen Service

Join us for an engaging, relevant, and musical Shabbat morning service designed specifically for our community’s post B’nei Mitzvah teenagers. This fun, teen-led service is an exciting way for our young adults to celebrate Shabbat while continuing their Jewish journey.
Who? Students in grades 8-12
When? 10 a.m., Saturdays

Shabbat Yahad - Shabbat Together

Once each month we come together as families and friends from our different Shabbat services and activities. Shabbat Yahad reaffirms the joy of belonging to our synagogue community, blending the generations of Chizuk Amuno for a Shabbat together.
