Et Ratzon - A Good Time

“As for me, may my prayer before You Eternal God, come at a good time.”

Et Ratzon is an intimate setting for Shabbat prayer, an hour of song and melody, reflection and insight, discussion and learning with Rabbi Shulman. On Friday evenings, at 7:30 p.m., we’ll join together to blend Hebrew and English prayer with conversation as we welcome Shabbat. On Shabbat mornings, at 11 a.m., we’ll join together to engage in the essential prayers of Shabbat and study Torah. (Participants in Et Ratzon are able to hear the Torah Reading in the Sanctuary from 10 - 11 a.m.)

Et Ratzon ~ A Good Time responds to three religious needs in our community.

First, many of us seek more concise and intimate prayer services that honor Jewish tradition but also recognize the nature of our lives today. Second, we desire prayer environments that help us to participate easily, grow our skills, and feel comfortable. Third, we want a more personal opportunity to explore with others our questions and thoughts about Judaism and religion, about our lives, our values, and our world.

These are the goals for Et Ratzon ~ A Good Time. If they interest you, we hope you’ll join us in creating these services by your attendance, involvement, and ideas.
We look forward to sharing Et Ratzon ~ A Good Time with you.
