Mon., Tues., and Wed. - July 9, 10, and 11 - 11:15 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. - Rabbi Amy Scheinerman, Instructor
This three session class will explore the story of the Exodus through the lens of Jewish power and agency. The Exodus portrays the Israelites as powerless and dependent upon God for redemption, contrasting strongly with the Book of Esther. What does the Exodus say about Jewish power? What have been the consequences down the road because of the way it has been interpreted?
